On March 29, Łódź Art Center held an inspiring workshop as part of the PALIMPSEST project, bringing together people passionate about shaping their natural environment.
Together with Deer Garden, we explored how to manage water better in the city, from biological purification systems to creative solutions for retention and reuse. Through hands-on experiments with water, we searched for suitable spaces for implementation and worked on possible solutions for a water management Łódź Pilot Toolkit.
The discussions and experiments focused on how to slow down water flow, retain it effectively, and improve the urban microclimate. Together, we looked at ways to develop available land in a way that truly benefits the local community. Stay tuned for what’s next in Łódź!
