On November 18th, Irene Bianchi presented the PALIMPSEST project at the Urban Design Studio, a Master’s course taught by Professor Grazia Concilio and Professor Patrizia Scrugli of the Politecnico di Milano.
The UDS workshop a.y. 2024/25 explores future scenarios for two major urban infrastructures: the Serra-Monte Ceneri flyover and the Tangenziale EST in Grande Parco Forlanini, where the Lambro River runs parallel and close to the motorway tracks.
The students were involved in collecting objects and stories about the river as contributions to the construction of a sculpture-machine to purify the water of the Lambro, designed by the artistic duo gethan&myles, winners of the Creative Dialogues with the ACQUA LAMBRO project for Milan Landscape pilot.
